Melissa George in 30 Days of Night

The Australian actress is rumoured to be signing on for the part of an intern who has a love affair with one of the established female characters.

George first hit our screens as Angel Parrish in the long-running Home and Away series. Since then she has appeared in Charmed, Alias and Monk as well as films such as 30 Days of Night and The Amityville Horror.

The Logie award-winning actress has played gay before: she was a nanny with a girlfriend on the comedy series Friends.
