    Lambert: “I’m not sorry”

Former American Idol contestant Adam Lambert has refused to apologise after he caused a ruckus at the American Music Awards recently with sexually explicit antics during his performance.

The ABC television network received a flood of complaints after Lambert kissed his male keyboard player, and had a dancer simulate oral sex on him while he performed the song “For Your Entertainment”.

As a result, ABC cancelled Lambert's scheduled appearance on their Good Morning America show, saying his performance at the Music awards had caught them by surprise and now they couldn't trust what he would do.

Lambert later told the hosts of the Early Show on the rival CBS network he got carried away, but wasn’t sorry.

He said he believed if a female performer had done those things on stage, there wouldn’t have been the same outrage.

“I think it’s because I’m a gay male,” he said.

Lambert also noted that Lady Gaga had smashed bottles on stage during her performance, Eminem rapped about rape and Janet Jackson groped a male dancer.

"Janet Jackson, crotch grab. I haven't heard a peep about that!" Lambert said.

In an interview on CNN Lambert criticised what he called a "double standard" on television.

"Women performers have been pushing the envelope sexually for the past 20 years and all of a sudden a male does it and everybody goes, 'Oh, we can't show that on TV'," Lambert said. "To me that's a form of discrimination and it's a double standard, and that's too bad."

Lambert's slot on Good Morning America was handed to Chris Brown who recently was in trouble for allegedly beating up his girlfriend, singer Rihanna. ABC announced Brown would not be performing, but rather he would be facing a "hard-hitting" interview.

I hate wimps who do not take a stand. Adam did not do anything that hurt anyone. Anyone who did not like it could turn it off. The guy has brass balls, that is why I like him.

He doesn´t have anything to apologize for. He´s so right about the double standard. If the parents are so concern about their children saw him kiss another man, I´m wondering why the children were awake after Janet´s grabbed his dancer´s crotch, Lady Gaga acted like a very drunk and crazy woman and Eminem rapped about rape. The children can see that and that´s ok? Please, don´t be that inconsistent!
