I’m Smoochy and I live up to my name. There’s nothing better than to cuddle with my owner. I’m an extremely affectionate young male who’s adorable, playful and confident. I love human interaction and get along well with other cats and dogs. I’ll make a wonderful addition to a family. Treat me right and I’ll love you forever!

I’m a lovely lady with an affectionate nature. I’m best suited to a family and home without other dogs or cats as they will be too much fun for me to chase and tease. I will make a lovely family pet. I need regular exercise so I’d enjoy living with an active family who can give me lots of play and exercise.

Shadow

I’m a lovely young lady. When I first came to the shelter I was quite timid and uncertain of myself. Since then I have gained confidence and come out of my shell, but I’m still basically a sensitive dog who will benefit from a quiet and loving home. I would prefer a home without young children as I would probably find them confrontational. I appear to be good around cats and other dogs and will make a lovely companion dog.

I’m an energetic young boy with energy to burn. I’m a typical staffy - boisterous and always on the go. Be prepared to do training so that I can grow into a well behaved adult who has manners and isn't a lout! I have a lot of energy that needs channeling into appropriate activities (e.g. play and exercise) as otherwise you can be sure I will get into trouble… making up my own activities!

We’ve all heard about the great work undertaken by the Animal Welfare League (AWL), an organization that gives shelter, care and a second chance at a new home for SA’s animals.

In fact, every year the AWL takes in over 20,000 lost and abandoned animals.
